I'm retired. Where shall I invest?
 

I am a retired person, aged 55 years, actually took voluntary due to some health conditions..I am thinking of investing some money about 1 lakh rupees in stock markets to tap the positive market trends so that I can yield good returns. Where shall I invest?

The rule is quite simple

The rule is quite simple ,invest in proportion to your age.
eg if you are 55 years old than 65% of earning in banks,fd's post ofc savings and 35% in equity to hedge against any unforseen situtations.Life span is taken here as 80 years.

Nowadays, since last few weeks almost all the sectors are performing well. You can go for IT stocks, infra and real estate stocks.
